PSYCHO-PEDAGOGIC SERVICE

A lighthouse of emotional well-being

Our psycho-pedagogic service is always ready to support and direct our students’ emotional well-being and overall development. We work in close contact with families to tackle and overcome psychological and educational challenges, and thereby guarantee serene and harmonious growth.

IN-CLASS OBSERVATION AND SCREENING

We use specific testing to identify early learning difficulties so that intervention can be speedy and targeted.

COUNSELLING FOR TEACHERS:

We offer our teachers continuous support so that they can handle class dynamics and develop effective teaching strategies.

COUNSELLING FOR PARENTS:

We provide counselling for families to improve communications and relationships so that we can tackle daily challenges together.

CANTEEN

A healthy and perceptive diet

Diet is a key element of our educational approach. We teach the importance of a balanced and healthy diet which respects the environment through our didactic vegetable patch and an in-house kitchen attentive to quality.

IN-HOUSE CANTEEN

We provide balanced and healthy food, give importance to seasonal ingredients and promote non-meat-based proteins.

SUSTAINABILITY:

We are working to reduce plastic and use reusable cutlery and water purifiers, thereby reducing waste and environmental impact.

FOOD EDUCATION:

Teaching children to eat correctly is of fundamental importance for us: that’s why we promote healthy habits at mealtimes.

OUT-OF-SCHOOL COURSES:

Activities to expand our horizons

The out-of-school activities used at Rootes School have been designed to enrich the educational experience and stimulate creativity and skills.

Here are some of the activities we offer:
Spanish, Chinese, artistic workshop, coding, choir singing, musicals, Ju Jitsu, swimming and dance.

ASSISTED REVISION AND HOMEWORK

Together we can overcome any obstacle

Our afternoon revision service is designed to help students learn subjects. Our qualified teachers give flexible and targeted individual or group lessons, to meet all personal needs.

Rootes School uniforms

We’re a single team.

Our school uniforms are more than an item of clothing: they are a symbol of belonging and mutual respect. Students all wear seasonal uniforms, designed to be practical and comfortable, also on school outings, and they reinforce a sense of group identity.
